Daughter (1 yr old) spits her milk out and Dad tells her no. She does it again. Dad tells her firmly, “No!” Son (3 yrs old) scrunches up his face and in his most serious and firm voice announces to daughter, “May Doc have mercy on your soul!” (from the movie Cars). We mistake it for, “May God have mercy on your soul” and just about fall out of our chairs. Apparently, there is no longer a need for son to watch Cars. He has already memorized it.
